Greetings All. This is Suspense Magazines first annual writing contest / sweepstakes. Below you will find the rules for the contest. Winners will receive the following: 1. Grand Prize - 12 books (some autographed) from each of the 12 authors of the month for 2008. To keep updated on the authors of the month, click on the author link above. Right now we have confirmed autograph copies from: Thomas Perry, Wendy Corsi Staub, Allison Brennan and Gregg Olsen. The images on the left might not be necessarily the exact book from that author that you will receive. All books are in brand new condition, many coming from the author directly. 2. Second Place - $50.00 gift card to Amazon.com 3. Third Place - $25.00 gift card to Amazon.com At least half of the stories will be published online. To view how stories are published click on the stories link above. If any author does not want their story published, please mention in your submission email. RULES: 1. All Stories must be in the suspense / thriller / mystery genre. 2. All Stories must be at least 1500 words and no more than 5000. You will be able to submit as many stories as you wish. Any stories that don't fall within that range will not be considered. 3. All Stories must be submitted in the body of your email. NO ATTACHMENTS WILL BE OPENED. 4. Must have a valid email address, as this is how you will be contacted if you win. 5. Contest runs from May 1st, 2008 until December 31st, 2008. 6. Winners will be announced in February of 2009. 7. All stories will be judged by an independent panel. 8. All authors will be notified by email if their story is published online. 9. Email all submissions to contest@suspensemagazine.com 10.
