Here is our review of King of Nod

King of Nod
By Scott Fad

Spanning several generations, King of Nod, chronicles the lives and
legends of those impacted by a single family on Sweetpatch Island in
South Carolina.  In this gripping epic, Boo Taylor returns home after 20
years realizing that he could never truly escape his past and finding that
his self imposed exile didn't protect him from his future.

After twenty years of progress and renovation, Sweetpatch Island has
become home to golf courses, resorts and tourists, which is an
unexpected transformation for Boo.  Unfortunately, the cosmetic, almost
transparent, improvements do not sweep away the lingering terror
sparked by the witches and ghosts of the past who continue to allot
punishment for long ago sins of the father.

In this exceptionally detailed epic, the lines between reality and fantasy
blur within the fast-paced transitions of the present and the past.
Readers will be compelled to continue through to the end of this
disturbing, spellbinding journey.
